	ABOUT MY WORK :


Every building is a political artifact, shaped by the values, priorities, and power structures present at the time of its construction. In Philadelphia, specifically in Kensington, the city contains visible traces of our industrial and working-class past while increasingly accomodating infrastructure designed for new, higher-income residents. These physical changes represent decisions about whose lives are valued and whose are displaced.
Through research, attending zoning and neighborhood meetings, photographic documentation, and material exploration, I investigate how redevelopment produces disruption, displacement, and distrust within communities. My work centers the lived impact of these changes, tracing the role of developers and political actors in reshaping neighborhoods, using the landscape itself as evidence of power, exclusion, and resistance.  
	
ABOUT ME : I am an artist, curator, and organizer living in Philadelphia, the best city in the world. I currently serve as the Executive Director of Da Vinci Art Alliance, an artist collaborative centered around collective resilience. Within my social and curatorial practice, I’m interested in elevating people I think do things that help the world in small or large ways and connecting them to additional resources. I cry when I see videos of mini-horses and I love soup.

They primarily focus on disabled and chronically ill, undocumented, people of color, LGBTQ, and low-income individuals and families.
Housing Reparations Philly -&#38;nbsp;Redistribution of non-Black wealth and energy to Black queer &#38;amp; LGBT+ people (particularly Black women +/or trans people +/or femmes) in need of housing &#38;amp; funds for housing.
Goldenrod Community - Goldenrod Community is a comprehensive support program in Philadelphia for women and trans individuals including their families that are being impacted by incarceration &#38;amp; proverty.
CADBI - The Coalition to Abolish Death By Incarceration is an all-volunteer effort working to build a mass movement both inside and outside of prison to take a stand against DBI and other harsh sentencing practices.

Barriers is a collection of created objects replicating the shapes and structures of the city grid, fencing around empty lots and construction sites, and the lego-like form that new and cheaply made buildings in Philly resemble. It’s a personal catalog of tools that are harnessed by oppressors to futher their goals of gentrification and displacement, as well as the echoes of what new construction has taken from our communities.
